The Edido washing station, located in its namesake Edido kebele of Yirgacheffe, receives contributions from 650 local farmers with an average farm size of 2 hectares, or about 5 acres. The washing station is owned by Ranger Industry & Trading PLC, who aim to facilitate the consistent and sustainable sourcing of quality and traceable coffees by assisting growers with maintaining meticulous processing practices and improving yield. They also invest in local needs such as localized cherry collection sites and road construction projects to make travel safer and easier for producers.
